Archival _CAPSTONE RESEARCH PROJECT

The research study ‘Archival’ explores the relationship between graphic design and fashion, and how graphic design has influenced the fashion industry. The study examines the evolution of graphic design in fashion, its impact on fashion communication, and its role in shaping fashion trends. By using qualitative research methods, the study uncovers the ways in which graphic design influences fashion communication, including fashion photography, editorial layouts, digital advertisements, and social media visuals. The research findings will provide valuable insights for designers, educators, and researchers in both fields of graphic design and fashion. Ultimately, the study aims to deepen our understanding of how graphic design influences fashion and how this relationship continues to evolve in the dynamic world of design and fashion.
Initially, my sole objective was to create a clothing line, but as my creative vision began to evolve, I realized that I wanted to integrate the captivating influence of graphic design into my project on a grander scale. To bring this vision to life, I conceptualized a series of innovative and engaging advertisements that artfully showcase the power of graphic design through various eras of history. Each advertisement is a visual journey that takes the viewer on a mesmerizing exploration of how graphic design and fashion have evolved over time.
